3DNS March Update - What’s New and Next
A Look at March’s Updates: New Tools, Namespaces, and What’s Ahead

Hey 3DNS fam,
March has been a full on month behind the scenes, and we’ve got a lot moving forward. Thanks for being part of the community—here’s a detailed look at what’s happening, with some context to help you understand how it all fits together.
Search v2 Rollout The team’s been deep into Search v2, which is about making the app’s search function faster and smarter. The design team reworked how results look, the front-end team optimized the interface so it loads quick, and backend engineers upgraded the system to handle more queries without choking. It’s been a grind to sync all these pieces, but it’s set to go live in the app in the next couple of weeks. Watch for it.
INK Identity Space: ids.ink We’re wrapping up ids.ink, our new namespace on Kraken’s Layer 2 INK network. Think of it like a digital ID card with extras. You mint an INK-themed ENS-style name—say, “username.ids.ink”—and it’s yours to use across the ecosystem. It’s tied to your wallet, so you can receive crypto payments directly to that name instead of sharing long wallet addresses. Plus, when someone hits your ids.ink domain, they see a profile page with your PFP, links, and whatever else you want to flex. The graphics team redid the visuals to make it stand out, and it’s built on Layer 2 for cheaper, faster transactions compared to mainnet Ethereum. This is all tied to our work with the INK team on the Superchain, a network of Layer 2s that share resources. It’s launching in the next few weeks—get ready to claim yours.
Miso.box: APAC-Inspired Fun with Soneimum The art team’s been building miso.box, a new identity space linked to the Soneimum ecosystem. This one’s got an APAC twist—imagine a high-rise restaurant in Tokyo with cartoon characters serving up soup. You mint a miso.box name, and it works as your identity in their network. The fun part? You can “order” soup as an NFT and name it—like “spicyramen.miso.box”—which doubles as your profile handle. We’re aiming for a launch in about a month, so it’s still cooking but close.
AI Agent Projects We’ve also been experimenting with AI agent products. Think bots that can handle tasks for you—like auto-renewing a domain, scouting available names, or even managing your wallet across namespaces. It’s early days, still in prototype mode, but the goal is to save you time. We’re testing how AI can read blockchain data and act on it without needing constant input. No timelines yet—it’s under wraps until we’re sure it’s solid—but we’ll keep you in the loop as it develops.
Conclusion
Thank you for being part of the 3DNS community. We're continually working on improving our services and integrating more apps to expand what you can do with your domains. We've got some exciting weeks coming up - make sure to follow us on Twitter/X and Farcaster to stay updated.
